Attendance & Leave

Attendance & Leave

As regular attendance is an important element for successful work it is essential that the School be informed when the child is detained at home. In case of illness and other unforeseen circumstances leave of absence should invariably obtained in writing certified by her parent/guardian on the record page of the diary. Medical Certificate to be accompanied with the application if the leave is more than 3 days. The teacher in charge of the class may not admit the girl to class unless the leave counter signed by the principal. The name of the students who are absent continually for a week without a notice or prior permission are liable to struck off the roll. Regular attendance is a must and students less than 85% of the attendance will not be allowed to appear for the Board Examination. All are expected to attend the class on the opening day and closing day after and before each vacation.

No pupil is allowed to go home, during the class hours. In case of emergency a duly authorised person comes to take her with a letter from the parents.

Irregular attendance, habitual misbehaviour, insubordination to teachers or any kind of cheating or serious misconduct, even outside the school premises will be deemed sufficient reason for the dismissal of the pupil.

No child suffering from contagious or infectious disease will be permitted to attend the school. Children who are ill should not be sent to school to attend class or answer the tests. Ill health affects the pupil's performance and may also spread contagion.
